python-pytyrant software package provides Pure Python client implementation of the Tokyo Tyrant protocol, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pytyrant
python-pytyrant is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pytyrant package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pytyrant *
You will get with python-pytyrant package name, version, architecture and description in a table
